Kevin Burns has worked in the jewelry industry for over 20 years, primarily as a buyer and appraiser of estate jewelry. As previous owner and president of Tampa Gemological Laboratory (an independent appraisal company) and as founder of Southern Estate Buyers and Appraisers, Kevin has developed a passion for antique and estate jewelry. This knowledge and acquired customer base together were the guiding force in the decision to open Associated Watch & Jewelry Buyers, a company dedicated to acquiring an inventory of selected jewelry pieces with the emphasis on quality and value.
Joe Huchro has over 20 years of experience in the jewelry and watch industry. Joe’s knowledge about watches is second to none, and his love of watches is evident when you speak to him . Let Joe guide you in choosing a fine watch, or in selling your own piece.
Mabel Burns brings a lifetime appreciation of antique and modern jewelry to the company. Her ability to find and match a piece of jewelry with a client is her forte. Mabel is also fluent in Spanish.
Frances-Redell-White is a certified appraiser in fine arts, antiques, and general personal property. With over 28 years experience in her field and certified by the Apprasiers Association of America and U.S.P.A.P, she has built a reputation of maintaining the highest standards of integrity and market expertise. Frances will be evaluating pieces at our location on Tuesdays of every week. You are welcome to bring your valuables by our office for her to evaluate, or call our office to make an appointment or speak with her directly.
Juliet Johannsen has 10 years of experience in jewelry sales and design. Juliet has a wealth of knowledge in jewelry repair stemming from her management of major retail jeweler's repair departments for 5 years. She has also earned a diamond grading certificate from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
Marissa Giatas studied with the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California and earned her Graduate Jeweler Gemologist certification in 2004. Since then, she has gained experience at jewelry stores in Laguna Beach, California and Ann Arbor, Michigan. With expertise in diamond grading, gem identification, and custom design, Marissa has a passion for jewelry and is excited to be a part of the team at Associated Watch & Jewelry Buyers.
